Position Overview

The Assistant Property Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the management and operation of properties overseen by our office. Responsibilities will encompass leasing activities, tenant relations, account management, and general administrative tasks. This role will serve as a vital support to the Asset Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional support to ensure an outstanding experience for tenants and property owners.
  • Assist the Asset Manager with property operations and administrative tasks.
  • Act as a Problem Solver, addressing resident concerns with composure and professionalism.
  • Oversee the leasing process, including marketing, property showings, initial interviews, application processing, and lease agreements.
  • Coordinate property viewings for upcoming vacancies, organize open houses, and maintain current online marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare and initiate lease agreements for new tenants based on information from the Asset Manager.
  • Enforce lease terms and address any observed violations.
  • Manage financial accounts accurately, including collections and reconciliations for current and past tenants.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and perform physical checks as necessary.
  • Prepare security deposit reconciliations, assessing appropriate charges.
  • Coordinate tenant maintenance requests and oversee work orders.
  • Prepare and distribute renewal letters to tenants based on Asset Manager input.
  • Demonstrate reliability by arriving to work as scheduled and ready for the day.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
