The primary responsibility of this position is to aid in the planning, development, scheduling, organization, implementation, evaluation, and management of our facility's social service and admissions initiatives. This role ensures that the emotional and social needs of our residents are addressed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as our internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Engage tactfully with staff, residents, visitors, family members, and external agencies.
  • Exhibit the knowledge and skills required to provide age-appropriate care for residents.
  • Act as a supportive team member, exemplifying teamwork and collaboration.
  • Show leadership qualities and a willingness to work harmoniously with colleagues.
  • Minimize waste and misuse of resources and equipment.
  • Seek innovative methods and principles to enhance existing practices.
  • Exhibit patience, tact, and a positive attitude while interacting with residents.
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Possess proficiency in computer usage, including data management and retrieval.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all individuals in the workplace.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in long-term care, nursing, or a related field that emphasizes consistent communication with residents is required. On-the-job training will be provided.
