Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the construction industry, with a particular focus on ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting cable), FTTx (Fiber to the x), and OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) projects. Experience in utilities construction is also a valuable asset.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Plan, implement, and oversee construction efforts at work sites.
  • Interact with clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
  • Coordinate with utility service providers.
  • Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Foreman or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in ADSS, FTTx, OPGW, and utilities construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
  • Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively.
  • Aptitude in math and problem-solving.
  • High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.).
  • Class A Lineman certification.
