Job Title: Supervisor for the Drug and Alcohol Program

Asociacion Puertorriquenos En Marcha Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor for the Drug and Alcohol Program to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical oversight and supervision to a team of substance abuse counselors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision to substance abuse counselors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement clinical practice policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of evidence-based services.
  • Conduct case consultations with doctors and counselors, documenting details in the electronic health record.
  • Manage the caseload of substance abuse counselors, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement training programs for substance abuse counselors, ensuring they meet the required training hours.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or above in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology.
  • At least two years of paid clinical experience in a health or human services agency, including one year of supervisory experience.
  • CAC, CDAC licensed or qualified.
  • Completed ASAM training.
  • Trained in Motivational Interviewing.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Proficiency in the DAP documentation.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word.
