Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced clinical psychologist to join our team as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Texas Tech University.

About the Position

This is a full-time, 9-month position that will begin on September 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and supervising students in clinical psychology, as well as engaging in service to the department, college, and university.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise doctoral practicum students within the Psychology Clinic
  • Assist the Psychology Clinic Director with administration of the Clinic
  • Engage in service to the department, college, and university
Requirements
  • A doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral program by the start date
  • Licensed as a psychologist in Texas or any other state by the start date
  • Clinical experience providing psychological services to children and adolescents
  • Experience providing clinical supervision to psychologists-in-training
  • Clinical experience providing crisis services/consultation
  • Administrative experience within clinical or other settings
