Position Overview: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is tasked with steering the financial strategy and accounting practices of the organization, while also managing relationships with financial institutions, stakeholders, and the broader financial community. The CFO plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's success by overseeing its financial operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enhances the financial health of the organization by delivering financial forecasts and accounting services, formulating growth strategies, and leading the finance team.

2. Guides the Finance Director in establishing and executing procedures necessary for maintaining accurate and timely financial records and reports.

3. Evaluates the organization's financial standing and provides regular updates on its stability, liquidity, and growth trajectory.

4. Analyzes and consolidates all cost accounting practices alongside other statistical and routine financial reports.

5. Identifies growth opportunities by examining economic trends and revenue potentials; projecting acquisition and expansion opportunities; assessing operational efficiencies; and securing capital for growth initiatives.

6. Formulates financial strategies by anticipating capital, facility, and staffing needs; identifying funding sources; and crafting actionable plans.

7. Monitors financial performance by evaluating results, implementing corrective measures, and mitigating the effects of variances.

8. Communicates financial status by generating forecasts, reporting outcomes, analyzing discrepancies, and recommending enhancements.

9. Oversees the preparation and distribution of the organization's annual financial report.

10. Maintains relationships with financial institutions and banks.

11. Prepares presentations for the Board of Directors on a monthly basis.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; MBA preferred

2. Over 10 years of successful experience in a senior leadership capacity within accounting and financial management

3. At least 5 years of experience managing financial audits, lender relations, and profit and loss reporting

4. Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and strategic thinking capabilities, including the development and execution of financial and strategic plans

5. Excellent leadership, team-building, and talent development skills, with experience in guiding a growing finance team

6. Comprehensive management skills, including strategic organizational development, motivational abilities, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

7. Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to financial planning

8. High level of personal and professional ethics and integrity

9. Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards

10. Proven negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and build trust

13. International experience and CPA designation preferred

14. Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous

Compensation:

$225,000 plus bonus opportunities.
