We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Tenet Massachusetts. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychiatric care to adult, adolescent, and child patients. This will involve planning and implementing milieu treatment, considering patient needs and therapeutic goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling to patients, focusing on treatment goals and patient needs
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct initial psychological assessments and provide ongoing support to patients
  • Lead and participate in milieu groups, incorporating knowledge of each patient's condition and therapeutic techniques
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • BLS certification
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, and 401k retirement plan. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is also available for external candidates.
