Job Summary:

Soliant Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team in Cherryville, North Carolina. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEPs that cater to students' diverse learning needs
  • Provide direct support and instruction in a resource classroom setting
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
  • Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instruction and IEPs as needed

Requirements:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching License for North Carolina
  • Experience with middle and/or high school students preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation:

  • $30-35 per hour
