Palliative Care Scheduler LPN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team as a Palliative Care Scheduler. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and reschedule patient appointments as needed
  • Answer patient questions regarding medical tests and procedures
  • Provide instructions to patients to ensure they are prepared for examinations and procedures
  • Confirm patient appointments
  • Schedule referral appointments and follow-ups
  • Verify insurance details
  • Assist NPs with refills, orders, and referrals
  • Administer Immunotherapy injections

Requirements:

  • LPN license for South Carolina
  • Proven experience working in a medical office
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance plans
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Good telephone etiquette
  • Ability to travel within service areas
