Job Title: Power BI Software Developer

About the Role:

Diaconia LLC is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Software Developer to join our team. As a Power BI Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI
  • Develop high-performing, reliable, and scalable solutions
  • Implement solutions using Microsoft Power BI tool suite and related technologies
  • Author and oversee design documents for approved projects
  • Develop reports, dashboards & scorecards, data exploration, and visual analytics using existing and emerging technologies and tools
  • Provide meaningful feedback and coaching of other team members in the use of Microsoft Power BI and related technologies
  • Provide insight and recommendations on new and emerging technologies and concepts to team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field REQUIRED
  • With 9+ years total related experience
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for U.S. Government client
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DOD Clearance
  • Power BI Certification
  • 3 years Power BI experience
  • 3 years of experience with data visualization and implementing high-value solutions; experience performing administrative activities across multi-environment infrastructures
  • 3 years of experience working in a client-facing technical role
  • Expert knowledge of data management, business intelligence and analytics concepts
  • Proficiency in one or more languages like: SQL, SAS, R, Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret DOD Clearance
  • Active IBM Data Analyst Professional certification
