Job Summary:

Agriland FS is seeking a highly organized and self-directed District Sales Specialist to lead the growth of our seed business. The ideal candidate will have excellent agronomy and seed technical skills, as well as strong sales and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive profitable seed and trait sales growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key seed customers and prospects
  • Conduct sales calls and targeted grower meetings with Crop Specialists to promote seed products
  • Train and develop Crop Specialists on seed selling techniques and product information
  • Develop and implement seed marketing activities throughout the year, focusing on customer retention and expansion
  • Collaborate with Procurement Manager and supply administration personnel to advise and coordinate ordering

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 5-7 years of sales experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products
  • Market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply forecasts
  • Sales leadership, closing techniques, and team-oriented environment
  • Professional communication, time management, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight, on a limited basis
