Job Overview

Bloomingdale's is seeking an experienced Utility Person/Dishwasher to join our restaurant team. As a Utility Person/Dishwasher, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and breaking down commercial dishwashing units, washing pots and pans, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and break down commercial dishwashing units.
  • Wash all pots and pans as needed.
  • Restock and maintain areas for china, silver, and small-wares.
  • Properly clean and close the kitchen at the end of each day.
  • General cleaning of the restaurant and work station.
  • Daily beverage station set-up.
  • Stocking and organizing supplies.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • No experience is necessary, but prior restaurant/kitchen industry experience is preferred.
  • You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures.
  • You must be a team player who can work in a learning environment and communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
  • You must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, extended hours, and key event days.
Benefits

All hourly associates are eligible to receive a quarterly bonus incentive, colleague discounts, and the opportunity to be part of an iconic brand. Certain criteria must be met to receive the quarterly bonus incentive.

We offer a competitive salary of $18.50 per hour, which reflects the cost of living in Aventura, Florida. This salary is based on market research and takes into account the local economy and industry standards.
