About the Role:
This Data Analyst role is a critical part of our Maintenance Department, responsible for analyzing data to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will develop and track budgets, analyze data to identify trends, and create reports to inform decision-making. You will also serve as Program Manager for certain operational service contractors and review and approve invoices and receivables.

Key Responsibilities:
Develops and tracks budgets and capital programs for the Maintenance Department
Analyzes data to identify trends and make informed decisions
Creates daily, monthly, and annual reports as needed
Serves as Program Manager for certain operational service contractors within the Maintenance Department
Reviews and approves invoices and receivables
Ability to create scopes of work and independent cost estimates
Assists Transit Services in developing and meeting performance goals

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, Business or a related field
Experience in applied business practices or analysis preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn and apply MTS policies and regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of specification writing and contract preparation and administration of consultant and procurement contracts
