Pharmacy Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to lead our Specialty Infusion Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational execution of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Management: Develop and implement strategies to control pharmacy costs, ensuring they meet or exceed budgeted targets.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to build a high-performing team, focusing on associate development and performance improvement.
- Customer Relationships: Foster positive relationships with customers, including DONs, Administrators, and Staff RNs, through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Process Implementation: Develop, maintain, and report on core processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in dispensing services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure pharmacy operations comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Optimize production and contain labor costs by effectively managing staffing and scheduling processes.
- Inventory Management: Manage physical inventory to meet client requirements and company goals.
- Policy Implementation: Implement company, region, and district policies, processes, and initiatives.
- Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reports as required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree; MBA or PharmD preferred.
- Experience: Management/supervisory experience in pharmacy or healthcare; P&L responsibility and LTC experience desired.
- Skills: Computer skills; business/financial knowledge; knowledge of pharmacy regulations; LTC pharmacy; performance management.
- Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations; clean driving record and proof of auto insurance.
- Behavior Competencies: Results-oriented; planning/organizing; communication (oral/written); people management; strategic and analytical thinking; teamwork.
