POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently in search of a Junior Project Coordinator who will operate under the guidance of a Senior Manager. This role involves assisting in the strategic planning, organization, oversight, integration, and successful execution of various projects, from the approval of shop drawings through to manufacturing, delivery, installation, and final project sign-off.
The position necessitates close collaboration with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the strategic planning, organization, oversight, integration, execution, and successful completion of multiple projects.
- Prepare, review, and ensure the timely completion of all project submittals.
- Monitor and manage all project schedules and milestones effectively.
- Review relevant manufacturing instructions and documentation.
- Oversee the approval process for purchased materials.
- Compile Preliminary and Final Operations & Maintenance manuals.
- Conduct final shop tests and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
- Coordinate with Logistics to ensure timely shipping of projects to the designated sites.
- Support Senior Managers and Engineers in ensuring projects are completed on schedule and that design modifications are implemented consistently.
- Review design alterations, specifications, and all documentation releases.
- Continuously monitor project expenditures to adhere to established budgets.
- Provide timely interim and completion project reports.
- Assist in negotiating Purchase Order Terms and Conditions under supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 0-2 years of experience in project management, overseeing multiple projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and Word; familiarity with AutoCAD and Solidworks is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Experience with Water/Wastewater projects is a plus.
- Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
