Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and replace residential water heaters, air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems.
  • Plan and execute installations in compliance with local codes, ensuring successful final inspections on the first attempt.
  • Engage with customers on-site, delivering an exceptional installation experience.
  • Ensure proper staging of jobs and complete installation checklists.
  • Utilize electrical testing equipment, pressure gauges, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
  • Work independently or collaboratively to troubleshoot and resolve field issues.
  • Exhibit honesty, reliability, and professionalism, representing the company image positively.
  • Organize and categorize inventory to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Educate customers on the advantages of maintenance contracts to prolong product lifespan and perform preventative maintenance to safeguard their investments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in residential and light commercial installations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in water heater installation.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Ability to pass drug tests and background checks.
  • Possession of personal tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of layout, design, fabrication, and installation.
  • Basic skills in sheet metal fitting fabrication.
  • Experience in starting up and troubleshooting furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and condensing units.
  • Solid understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Capability to mentor entry-level personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical or vocational degree in a related field.
