About the Role

Bellwether Community Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Contact Center team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member service, promoting deposit products, and providing support for online banking and loan referrals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding member service via telephone and electronic channels, ensuring error-free and accurate completion of member service requests.
  • Actively seek opportunities to cross-sell deposit products and e-services to members and non-members, utilizing the CCSR Referral Program.
  • Participate in outbound calling efforts to promote loan opportunities and provide proactive loan referrals.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and BSA regulations.
  • Answer inquiries, provide information, and resolve concerns related to accounts or electronic services utilized by members.
Requirements
  • Understanding of Credit Union operations, including policies, procedures, compliance, and security.
  • Strong interactive written and verbal communication skills to ensure member understanding.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and professionalism, projecting a positive image as a representative for the Credit Union.
  • Demonstrated proficient use of Credit Union software and technologies, including Microsoft Office suite.
