About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Store Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, following company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality results
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting with deliveries as needed
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a visually appealing store environment
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, suggesting ways to improve sales and efficiency
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
