Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance repairs on a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical production equipment and building systems.
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns of hydraulic, pneumatic, and high voltage electrical systems without assistance.
  • Work from layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, drawings, or verbal instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose automated manufacturing equipment in a pharmaceutical setting and perform maintenance, repair, and calibration on equipment such as control systems of machinery.
  • Conduct operational tests and repair equipment by disassembling required components, repairing and/or replacing faulty parts, reassembling, and adjusting equipment.
  • Assure the work environment is clean, orderly, and free of safety hazards.
  • Complete all required safety program objectives and training.
  • Take an active part in cost reduction and continuous improvement programs.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards and have the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Clayton, North Carolina. The work environment is a manufacturing environment with a cleanroom and climate-controlled conditions. The work schedule is 12-hour shifts, with one day shift and one night shift.
