Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at Temecula Valley Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for documenting patient activities, assisting with daily living tasks, and providing safe and timely transport of patients. You will also be responsible for performing specimen collection, communicating with RNs, and accurately interpreting cardiac rhythms.
Responsibilities- Document patient activities in accordance with established policy
- Assist patients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, feeding, and ambulating
- Perform specimen collection and communicate results to RNs
- Provide safe and timely transport of patients as assigned
- Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and post strips on flow sheet
- 6 months experience working as a CNA or Paramedic preferred
- Current Calif. CNA, EMT or Paramedic certificate required
- BLS Certification (AHA and current)
- Basic dysrhythmia certification within 90 days of hire
