About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiogram Technologist to join our team at Temecula Valley Hospital. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency Echocardiography and specialized Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and Stress Echocardiograms.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Echocardiography and specialized Echocardiography procedures, including Transesophageal Echocardiograms and Stress Echocardiograms.
  • Assist with non-invasive Cardiology testing, including EKGs and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Explain the purpose of the procedure to the patient and, if necessary, to the family.
  • Maintain the patient procedure log and report statistics to the Manager/Director as needed.
  • Inform physicians of significant abnormalities when necessary.
  • Act as a liaison to the Cardiologist to ensure that all tests are interpreted in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree that aligns with RDCS or RCS certification requirements.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification.
  • Current RDCS by ARDMS or RCS by CCI certification.
