Job Summary:
Wingate Healthcare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of our Assisted Living Community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily work orders, written and verbal, as assigned by the Maintenance Director in a timely manner.
- Maintain and operate all equipment in a safe manner.
- Assist Director of Maintenance with department's Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Respond to minor requests by staff in a timely manner.
- Assist with maintaining the exterior and interior appearance of the building, i.e. snow removal, cleaning heating vents, etc.
- Maintain furnishings as directed by Maintenance Director.
- Accept on call duties.
- Apply 5 Star customer service approach in all aspects of job.
- Committed to working with residents and families to develop and implement strategies that promote person-centered care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Experience in building maintenance Required.
- Strong ability to set priorities and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
