Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Case Manager Assistant to join our team at GEO Reentry Services, LLC. This is a part-time opportunity to provide case management support for a Day Reporting Center, working closely with Case Managers to check in participants, coordinate case management, and document progress.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Greeting participants entering the facility and completing initial intake processes, including intake paperwork and assignment of groups and services.
  • Providing general office administration duties, including answering phones and providing customer service to participants, customers, and the general public.
  • Assisting Case Managers with case coordination, communication with agencies, and preparation and distribution of reports.
  • Managing participant caseloads using the Principles of Effective Intervention (What Works), conducting risk/need assessments, and creating individual treatment plans.
  • Facilitating evidence-based CBT programs and life skills programs to participants in groups each week, documenting attendance, participation, and progress.
  • Developing and monitoring participant progress relative to their Comprehensive Master Plan (CMP) throughout the program.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and a minimum of six months of experience in the Human Services field with direct participant services.
  • College coursework in Human Services or a business discipline is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel, as well as basic database skills.
