Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate - Delivery and Inventory Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of products to our customers while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks to meet delivery schedules and ensuring products are secure from damage
  • Operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
  • Delivering orders in a safe and undamaged manner when drivers are out sick or on vacation
  • Communicating with customers via face-to-face interaction, phone, or email to provide best-in-class service
  • Working closely with other departments, including Inside & Outside Sales and Customer Service
  • Receiving returned products from customers, inspecting for damage, and securing returning products to ensure safe and undamaged return
  • Performing daily truck lists and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combined education and experience
  • Experience with driving a 26' box truck
  • Ability to pass a driving test
  • Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software
  • Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
