Job Summary

As a Warehouse Associate at ADUSA Distribution, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products throughout our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include performing shipping and receiving tasks, selecting and palletizing orders, and operating material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor or designee
  • Complete all documents related to shipping and receiving tasks
  • Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food, and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores accurately
  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts according to company policy
  • Follow good sanitation practices and maintain a clean work area
  • Make recommendations for process improvements to maximize efficiency and productivity

Requirements

  • Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable
  • Ability to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes
  • Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • High School Education
  • Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment

Preferred Requirements

  • Ability to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 80 lbs. repetitively
  • Ability to meet production standards set by the company
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to perform assigned duties
  • Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions
