Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and training to students, teachers, and parents on communication and swallowing strategies
- Conduct progress monitoring and evaluation to ensure effective treatment outcomes
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- 1 year of experience in a school setting (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
