Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Therapist - School Setting

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to students, teachers, and parents on communication and swallowing strategies
  • Conduct progress monitoring and evaluation to ensure effective treatment outcomes

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • 1 year of experience in a school setting (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
