Key Responsibilities- Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Register sales on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.
- Recommend items for sale to customers and suggest trade-up and/or companion items.
- Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
- Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
- Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
- Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
- Assume web pick-up responsibilities and assist with exterior and interior maintenance.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
