Job Summary

Quad is seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our boiler and solvent recovery systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair boiler and solvent recovery systems to maintain safe operating conditions
  • Perform skilled mechanical maintenance work on a variety of systems, including boilers, pumps, air compressors, and vacuum pumps
  • Operate and maintain plant HPA, LPA, and vacuum equipment
  • Monitor and control the fire protection system for the facility
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance of equipment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 4 years of training to be a Boiler/Solvent Recovery Operator
  • Experience operating equipment in boiler rooms and solvent recovery systems
  • Basic welding, soldering, and fabrication skills
  • Ability to work three 12-hour shifts, days or nights, and holidays, and rotate schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a maintenance program through a technical school
  • State license or certification desirable
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders up to heights of 20 feet
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Physical endurance and mobility for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and stooping
