Job Summary:
As a Medical Support Specialist at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities. This position involves performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of physicians, coordinators, and registered nurses. Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes. You will also be responsible for taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood. Additionally, you will participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain your knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.

Education and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent. A graduate of a Medical Assistant Training Program or holds National Medical Assistant Certification: CMA, CCMA, RMA is highly preferred. At least 1 year work and/or clinical training experience in the healthcare field is also desired.

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00 - $27.85 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions are not subject to overtime pay.
