Medical Support Specialist

SUNY Upstate Medical University is committed to providing high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant 2 to join our team. This part-time role requires flexibility, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Summary:
This position involves performing various nursing care activities, communicating effectively with patients and healthcare staff, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. If you possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, this may be an ideal opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, adhere to infection control protocols, and support medical staff during procedures.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Minimum one year of patient care experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Estimated annual salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (SG 08), dependent on qualifications and experience.
