Position:

Class A CDL Truck Operator

Work Schedule:

4:00 a.m. until completion - Monday to Friday, with optional Saturdays

Pay Rate:

$27.00 per hour, plus 20 hours of overtime

Our operations are based in a vibrant region known for its cultural richness and historical significance. Contribute to environmental sustainability while working in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

To excel in this role, the Truck Operator must be capable of performing the following duties:

  • Operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, as well as all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, documenting findings using the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
  • Promptly report any unsafe conditions or service-related concerns to the Route Manager or Dispatch.
  • Inform the Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
  • Alert the Route Manager or Dispatch regarding service interruptions, including inaccessible streets or alleyways, heavy receptacles, or potential safety risks.
  • Communicate customer requests effectively to Dispatch or the Route Manager.
  • Thoroughly empty all receptacles and ensure the customer's location is left clean and free of debris.
  • Follow assigned routes as directed and complete end-of-day documentation and check-out procedures.
