Job Summary:

Frito Lay is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations.
  • Load and unload trailers, which can involve manual labor, palletized loading/unloading, or the use of a two-wheeler.
  • Lift items over your head and transport chips, dips, and other products to and from large grocery stores, Frito Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers.
  • Obtain signature of receipt, pick up returns, and complete logs and other paperwork related to deliveries.
  • Use an electronic logging device, such as a tablet or onboard computer, to track hours and other information.
  • Have regular contact with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch, and be responsible for pre- and post-trip truck inspections.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license.
  • At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours.
  • Ability to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
