About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.
  • Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Radiology Technician certification from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency required.
  • Radiologic Technologist certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred.
