This senior-level role is primarily dedicated to water and wastewater initiatives, encompassing treatment projects across various regions including Colorado, the Southwest, and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

A typical week includes:

  • Project management and oversight.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and staff.
  • Conducting engineering calculations and design development.
  • Performing site visits and assessments.
  • Engaging with clients, architects, and contractors.

Join us in delivering premier projects within the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond. With over 30 years of collaboration with the National Park Service, our projects span across the U.S., Mexico, and Antarctica.

Essential Duties:
  • Contribute to master planning and conceptual design.
  • Assist in fee determination and proposal development.
  • Monitor design budgets and project timelines.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients and other design disciplines.
  • Oversee multiple engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians.
  • Participate in project meetings throughout design and construction phases.
  • Ensure quality control of deliverables.
  • Support project construction administration, including shop drawing reviews and field observations.
  • Manage project budgets and oversee client invoicing.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water/wastewater treatment for at least 10 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred.
  • Registered PE license in Colorado or the ability to obtain it within three months.

Preferred:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment.
  • Proficiency with Civil3D, FlowMaster, and BioWin.
  • Field experience in construction and operations.
  • Strong interest in company initiatives and community involvement.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
