Job Summary:
The Kroger Company is seeking a highly skilled Asset Protection Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Loss Prevention department, you will play a critical role in protecting our assets and ensuring the safety of our customers and associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detect and deter external theft suspects by monitoring store areas and identifying potential security risks.
- Reduce customer and associate dishonesty by implementing and promoting loss prevention strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor large shrink areas in stores to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
- Report incidents to the Asset Protection Manager and provide timely and accurate information to support investigations and resolution.
- Support customer and associate relations through effective communication and training to promote a positive and secure shopping environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, associates, and management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve security and loss prevention goals.
