**Job Summary:**

The Upstate University Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our M-TAB team. As a key member of our integrated care team, you will provide assessments, consultations, and brief interventions for patients admitted to the hospital for medically related trauma or burn. Your expertise will be invaluable in engaging with adult patients at high risk for psychological difficulties following a trauma.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide brief interventions for adult patients admitted to the medical hospital at high risk for psychological difficulties following a trauma.
  • Engage in consultation/liaison work with patients throughout their hospitalization, as needed.
  • Supervise trainees and teach as part of your role.
  • See patients from this service for ongoing outpatient therapy through the faculty private practice.
  • Work with a select number of general private practice patients, as needed.

**Requirements:**

  • Doctoral degree in psychology from a regionally accredited university who completed an APA-approved internship in Psychology.
  • NY State license as a Psychologist.
  • One year post-doctoral experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience or expertise working with individuals impacted by trauma and/or within the field of health psychology.
  • Prior experience working with an integrated care team, supervising trainees, and teaching is ideal.
  • Postdoctoral training that included or emphasized health psychology is also preferred.

**Work Environment:**

Monday through Friday, with a standard workday.

$75,392 - $115,508 per year, based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.
