Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Cardiac Progressive Care Specialist to join our team. As a member of our healthcare family, you will have the opportunity to create your own personal career path in nursing and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Progressive Care unit, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Monitor and recognize changes in patients' behavioral, neurological, and physiological status, and take appropriate action.
- Administer and monitor the effects of medications, treatments, and procedures performed on patients.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain and practice quality patient care through effective use of resources and personnel.
- RN licensed in the State of Texas or Compact.
- BCLS certified.
- Current ACLS required.
- Associates Degree or BSN.
- Critical Care Background.
- Dysrhythmia Recognition.
- Proficiency in EKGs.
