**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Partner with team members from global locations to support startup operations of new product lines and provide daily engineering support for existing product lines.
  • Problem-solve issues on the line causing production delays and utilize lean concepts to make improvements.
  • Develop and evaluate Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, and Special Manufacturing Instruction documents.

**Requirements:**

  • Currently pursuing an ABET accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
  • Ability to work full-time during summer months (approximately 12 weeks).
  • Desire to work in a hands-on work environment in a manufacturing plant.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and goals.
  • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks/projects at one time, and/or project management experience.

The compensation for this position is $26/hr for undergraduate interns and $28/hr for graduate or returning interns. This position is eligible for holiday pay.
