Clinical Liaison Job Description

At Select Medical, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team. As a Clinical Liaison, you will serve as an advocate for patients during the pre-admission process, working closely with clinical teams and healthcare professionals to evaluate patients' medical needs and develop results-producing relationships throughout the medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical assessments of referred patients and counsel with patient's families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one.
  • Partner with hospital case managers to create smooth patient transfer processes and help remove payer-related and operational barriers to getting appropriate patients into this highly effective level of care.
  • Armed with a strong clinical background, payer knowledge, and problem-solving skills, you'll work with physicians, discharge planners, and patient's families to plan the best continuum of care.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with patients and their families, providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) License.
  • Prior sales or business development experience is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, flexibility, and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
