About the Role

Sightpath Medical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting surgeons with cataract procedures and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons with cataract procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment
  • Deliver mobile cataract surgical equipment to customers, maintaining inventory and ensuring equipment is in good working condition
  • Develop strong relationships with doctors and their staff, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Participate in on-the-job training to become an expert in ophthalmic surgical procedures
  • Travel to various locations, including hospitals and surgical centers, to support surgical teams
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
