Job Title: Class A Lead Support Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A Lead Support Driver to join our team at Denali Water Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our support drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our food waste collection routes.

Job Summary:

The Class A Lead Support Driver will be responsible for:

  • Loading, hauling, and delivering food waste on intra- and interstate routes with multiple stops ranging from 15-25 per day.
  • Operating manual and automatic transmission vehicles per DOT requirements as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Utilizing a pressure washer to rinse bins and containers and leaving all client locations clean and free of debris.
  • Performing pre-and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintaining basic truck equipment and overall cleanliness of equipment.
  • Utilizing electronic logging system for DOT driver logs and as otherwise required.
  • Maintaining paperwork (contamination and service tickets, truck maintenance, etc.) and submitting all documentation to the appropriate party.
  • Regularly communicating with customers and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Communicating with the corporate office/operations team regularly for all service, equipment, and customer service-related issues.
  • Reporting all accidents and injuries immediately to the safety manager.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Class A CDL License (self-certified as a Non-Excepted Interstate driver with the state of issuance).
  • A clean MVR and PSP.
  • At least 23 years of age and a minimum of 2 years of full-time verifiable tractor-trailer experience OR 21 years of age with 1 year of tractor-trailer experience IF a graduate from a Truck Driving School or 1 year of Military experience.
  • A stable work history.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
