Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist

INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Edmond, OK. As a key member of our Labor & Delivery team, you will work the night shift 7p-7a, providing exceptional care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Certified Surgical Technologist is an allied health professional who works with surgeons and other healthcare practitioners to provide surgical care to patients in various settings. This role involves handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures, while maintaining a sterile and aseptic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the sterile field and ensure quality patient care during surgical procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and ensure the necessary supplies and equipment are available.
  • Check and prepare supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist in draping the sterile field and passing instruments to the surgeon.
  • Ensure proper disposition of surgical specimens and cultures.
  • Prepare sterile dressings and clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization.
Requirements:
  • BCLS certification within 120 days of employment.
  • Graduate certificate from an accredited surgical technology program or 6 months of experience as a surgical technologist.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
