Art Specialist DSP: Creative Visionary

As an Art Specialist DSP at Creative Works in Saco, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional community-based daytime activities for adults with disabilities and autism.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for art and a commitment to supporting individuals with unique needs. Your primary responsibility will be to lead our Arts Curriculum, promoting personal growth through artistic experiences that foster self-esteem, self-confidence, and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Advocate for assigned individuals, ensuring all medical, dental, and therapy appointments are scheduled and kept.
- Attend to individuals' personal care needs, including lifting and assisting with daily tasks.
- Transport individuals as needed, using your personal vehicle for appointments and other activities.
- Transfer between assignments as requested, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; B.A. degree preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is a plus.
