About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at University Hospitals Parma Pediatric Services. As an LPN Ambulatory I, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.
  • Function in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Complete and submit required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies to provide optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience, with a focus on ambulatory care.
  • Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and IV certification (unit-dependent).
