Job Title: LPN Ambulatory

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Ambulatory Care team in Pediatrics. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Job Summary:

This role involves providing patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician. You will collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about nursing assessments and report all current nursing care plans, medication or treatment, and communicate patients' responses. Additionally, you will observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or routine laboratory tests and educate patients and family members.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician
  • Collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about nursing assessments
  • Report all current nursing care plans, medication or treatment, and communicate patients' responses
  • Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or routine laboratory tests
  • Educate patients and family members
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing
  • Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of patient care experience
