Key Responsibilities- Review and interpret patient medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses and procedures
- Assign ICD-10 codes accurately and timely to the highest level of specificity
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding requirements and provide guidance to colleagues
- Participate in initiatives related to data integrity and billing processes
- Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
- 1-3 years of coding experience, including outpatient or specialty coding
- High school diploma or equivalent required
