International Admission Director

The University of San Francisco seeks a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our International Undergraduate Admission team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the admission process for international students and contributing to the university's mission to educate leaders who will fashion a more humane and just world.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate academic credentials of first-year applicants and transfer students, providing guidance and expertise to the International Admission team.
- Review admission files, determine eligibility, and recommend admission decisions.
- Serve as the reading manager for the undergraduate admission team, overseeing application review, following up on incomplete applications, and creating and maintaining the reading training manual.
- Oversee outside readers, schedule and provide training, set weekly reading goals for the team and outside readers.
- Maintain admission standards, requirements, protocols, policies, and procedures for enrollment in collaboration with the Assistant Vice Provost and SEM.
- Serve as the liaison and collaborate closely with the office of Strategic Enrollment Management to ensure proper processing of admission applications.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- Six to eight years of demonstrated experience in undergraduate or international admission.
- Detailed knowledge of admission application organization, reading, and tracking.
- Ability to be flexible and creative when working in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working with international students and familiarity with international student experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work cooperatively and efficiently with staff members having overlapping responsibilities.
- Ability to speak a foreign language and experience living or studying abroad.
