Job Title: Certified Ophthalmic Technician

Join our team at Retina Vitreous Associates as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician. As a valuable asset to our ophthalmologists, you will assist in providing exceptional patient care during patient visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
  • Assist ophthalmologists with patient exams, including dilation, refraction, and diagnostic tests
  • Record patient information, medical history, and current medications
  • Verify patient information and confirm purpose of visit
  • Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned by manager
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; COA or COT certification preferred
  • One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
