Job Summary
The Concessions Cook is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food products to our guests. This role requires strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food products to order, ensuring high-quality and presentation standards.
- Receive and fulfill verbal orders from front counter staff, maintaining accurate records and communication.
- Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items, ensuring freshness and quality when served.
- Control portion sizes and serving temperatures, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment, such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens, with precision and safety.
- Ensure all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are stored properly, and utensils are clean and put away.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality, meeting company standards.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, respectful manner.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess a valid food handling certificate, if required by state and federal regulations.
