About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Matrix Medical Network. This individual will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the overall security strategy across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement robust security architectures for cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring they meet business needs and HIPAA regulatory requirements.

Design and oversee the implementation of security controls for cloud platforms, including identity and access management, encryption, network security, and logging.

Own the design, development, and execution of the Disaster Recovery (DR) plan for both cloud and on-prem systems.

Serve as the primary security point of contact with third-party colocation (COLO) providers, ensuring data center compliance with the organization's security policies and ensuring SLAs are met.

Requirements:

Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure, with certifications preferred.

Experience with colocation (COLO) data centers and on-prem infrastructure.

Proven experience in Disaster Recovery planning and execution.

Strong understanding of network security, encryption, identity management, and incident response.

Experience with compliance and industry regulations (ISO 27001, HITRUST CSF, HIPAA).

Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or Zero Trust Architecture.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
